I just wanted to take a minute and welcome everyone to our blog. I warn you. While my brilliant wife is not the writer her brother is. I am not nearly the writer my wife is. In fact, I remember one moment in my life when the words of my father were never more clear. He said "David, your writing sucks." In other words, bear with me as I make my way through the world of blogging. I am confident Maggie will bring you all sorts of information and pictures from our life events. In the meantime, I will try to bring you some insight and more likely rants and ramblings about UGA football.
On that note, I recently met a gentleman who has come into some difficult times. His wife is battling ovarian cancer and at the same time he was laid off from his job. He has three young children and is in search for a job to provide for all of them. I have tried to help him find a job, however, I hit a few road blocks and was not able to help him. His situation did provide me with some clarity, though. It forced me to take stock of all the fortune that I have had in my life and continue to have. I encourage you to do the same. I'm sure you will find that while life sometimes seems difficult we still have much to be thankful for. Have a good night.
