4 Months

DM and Junior the elephant. She also has an elephant named Jimmy.

DM is over 4 months old now! Bless her heart. She is on her third pediatrician, but I'm confident this one is a keeper. He and I had an opportunity to discuss houses because we're trying to narrow down where we want to live and he pays horrible Atlanta taxes. We both agree that smaller is better! On to what you really want to know - her stats:

Head: Tiny - 15th percentile

Length: Long - 75th percentile
Weight: Slender - 25th percentile

She now takes two naps during the day with a cat nap in the evening and sleeps from 9:15 pm until 8:00 am. DM has four bottles a day and haven't even figured out she is living in a rental house yet!

Happy Father's Day!

This guy has been one amazing father thus far in DM's short little life. Why?

1. Most know I lack patience. Lucky for me, David is a bit more patient. He got up during the night countless times during the early days with DM when I just couldn't anymore. I can't imagine how exhausted he was at work during those days.

2. The stress of the move (oh, yeah, and a baby) brought me to screaming tears many, many times. This guy listened patiently and quietly reminded me that God would never give us more than we could handle.

3. He puts his sweet little angel to bed every night that he is home.

4. Anytime he isn't at work, he's always willing to watch DM while I run. Frankly, that is probably a self-defense mechanism because I'm much easier to be around if I exercise.

5. His glass isn't always half full, it is completely full.

DM's first travels

This week, DM and I set out for CA to visit with grandparents. Almost there! Waiting for our stroller that mysteriously was re-routed to baggage claim.
